Classic der Dicke – A Long Cold Winter (daily concept)
Nach diversen Rap-Alben kommt der Neu-Beatschmied Classic der Dicke mit seinem ersten Instrumental Album daher. „A Long Cold Winter“ nennt sich das gute Stück, dass über die Leipziger Hip Hop Kompetenz daily concept erschienen ist. Das Rapper instrumentale Scheiben basteln scheint gerade wieder ein wenig in Mode zu kommen. Kann ich nur gutheissen, denn auch das Ding vom Schweizer Wortakrobaten mit italienischen Wurzeln ist richtig gut geworden.
Meine Wertung
Classic der Dicke hat mit seinen plattendrehenden Kollegen Maxcarpone, DJ Crypt und DJ Robert Smith ein richtig fettes Boom Bap Vinyl produziert. „A Long Cold Winter“ kommt mit 10 krachenden Tracks daher, die den Kopf ordentlichen nicken lassen. Nach REVISIT OST (Darkroom Debuts) ist mal wieder ein Music & Art Projekt im Vinyl-41-HQ gelandet, dass schon allein wegen Ausstattung und Hingabe die höchste Wertung verdient hat. Und exzellente Instrumentals sind auch noch dabei. Kann es besser werden? „Sketches of Rome“ vom Creative Collective Besser-Samstag ist eine 12 Tracks starke Compilation, die mit einer richtig fetten Besetzung daher kommt. AK420, Brous One, Wilczynski, Upper Class und einige Beatschmiede mehr bilden das instrumentale Line-up des Vinyl. Ein klanglicher Hip Hop Hochgenuss von vorn bis hinten. Dazu passt das reichhaltige Drumherum wie die sprichwörtliche Faust aufs Auge. Cover, Booklet, Postkarte, Poster … alles vom Feinsten und stimmig noch dazu. Für jeden Track gibt es ein eigenes Poster-Design, fresh gefertigt von Mr.Kilroy. Ich habe mich für das MZ Boom Bap Paket entschieden. Hyppsches Ding!
