Großartiges Album vom belgischen Beatschmied Sim Nagai, dass leider (bis jetzt) nicht auf Vinyl veröffentlicht wurde.
Ick freu mir mal wieder so richtig! Nicht ganz acht Jahre nach dem legendären Tape erscheinen die besten Gassenhauer von „WOX x Baronski – Mind Your Head“ auf hübschem Vinyl. On top gibt es noch eine 7-zöllige Bonus EP mit frischer Beatkunst. Da hat das Berliner Label Dezi-Belle mal wieder ein voll knorkes Bündel geschnürrt. Mir bleibt nur noch eins zu schreiben: Gönnt Euch das oldschoolige Ding!
Neulich habe ich mal wieder auf dem planet herb „vorbeigeschaut“, um zu schauen, welches voll schnafte Tape ich mal wieder verpasst habe. Aber weit gefehlt, denn ich habe ein Vinyl passt. Glücklicherweise nur die Information, denn die Platte war/ist noch verfügbar.
„herb.sun – Schönheit die im Dreck gedeiht“ is(t) his »first Release on Vinyl/Record !« Hamma! Nach Austausch der Zahlungsinformationen beim Zwischenhändler Bandcamp, landete hier die Nr. 21 von 200. Ok, daran arbeiten wir noch. Beim nächsten mal wird es bestimmt die 41.
Meine Wertung
Hätte der Beatschmied schon vorher ein Vinyl veröffentlicht, dann hätte ich geschrieben: Typische herb.sun Platte. Aber so schreib ich halt, alles wie immer: Großartige Boom Bap Beats garniert mit passenden Samples. Solides Debüt in Polyvinylchlorid!

Die erstendrei Teile von „The Library Archive“ haben mich schon voll abgeholt und gefallen mir noch immer sehr. In die gleiche Kerbe schlägt auch der vom Label ATA Records zur Verfügung gestellte vierte Teil aka „The Library Archive Vol. 4“
