Plattenregal: Hier stelle ich Vinyl vor, dass sich bereits in meiner Plattensammlung befindet. HipHop, Elektro, Pop, Soundtracks und Rock. Dr. Dre, Die Antilopen Gang, Snoop Doggy Dogg, Jamie XX, Absolute Beginner, Stieber Twins, Moderat, Depeche Mode, The XX, A Tribe Called Quest, Funkonami, Twit One, Wun Two, MF Eistee, Remulak, Hydrogenii, Ded Tebiase, Kuartz, Time Machine Gang uvm. Die ganz wilde Mischung.
Heute mal wieder was zum famosen Abzappeln. „Atwashere feat. Morina Miconnet – Take a Look“ nennt sich der Track, der schon im Januar 2019 digital veröffentlicht wurde. Über Trust In Wax (ANTITYPE) ist jetzt (zu recht) das passende 12inch Vinyl erschienen, dass bei mir prompt in der Inbox und auf dem Plattenteller landete. Auf der Platte sind die Single, zwei Remixe, das Dubstrumental und die Acapella Version akustisch zu bestaunen. Vollausstattung sozusagen.
Dub Step, Slow Tech, Drum’n’Bass … auf dem 12-Zöller dürfte ein Mix für jeden dabei sein. Mir hat besonders das Dubstrumental gefallen. Das dürfte jetzt nicht so überraschen, wa?! ;-)„Take a Look“ ist ein gelungener Ausflug in die etwas elektronischere Richtung der basslastigen Unterhaltungsnische. Ihr könnt euch das Vinyl mit dem stylische Disco Sleeve auf der Bandcamp-Seite von Trust In Wax zulegen. Pro-Tipp: mach laut das Ding!
ist nach High+ (mit Plusma) die zweite Platte vom Hamburger Beatschmied, die im Vinyl-41-HQ gelandet ist. Erneut war und ist das Berliner Underground Hip-Hop Label Dezi-Belle (DB085) für die Herstellung und den Vertrieb verantwortlich. Das Artwork haben Lea Berndorfer und Karla-Jean v.Wissel übernommen und umgesetzt. Für das Mastering stand Plusma an den Analoggeräten.
High John hat für sein aktuelles Album „Astro Travelling“ neun Tunes produziert, die auf ein wunderschön gemarbeltes Stück Polyvinylchlorid gepresst wurden. Die entspannten Beats kommen titelgerecht sehr sphärisch daher. Die intergalaktischen Loops sind gut gefüllt mit groovigen Drums, melodiösen Synthesizerklängen und satten Basslines. Eine chillige Perle der instrumentalen Unterhaltungskunst. Meine Wertung: 8/10. Favoriten: „Astrotravelling“ und „Gravity feat. BabyJane“. Erhältlich ist der analoge Datenträger – als schwarzes (100 Kopien) und purple/multicolored/marbeld Vinyl (100 Kopien) – direkt bei Dezi-Belle. Im Online-Shop von HHV Records sind auch beide Varianten verfügbar.
Das Instrumental Hip Hop Album „Loop Schrauber – Repeat“ ist im November 2019 über das Independent Music Label Vinyl Digital (VinDig421) erschienen. Vom Solo-Debüt des Con Comfort Beatschmieds wurden 300 Kopien in schwarzes Polyvinylchlorid gepresst und in ein von Mimi Smalls designtes Cover gesteckt. Das Mastering stammt vom Künstler himself.
Stattliche 16 Tracks hat der Regensburger Soundtüftler für „Repeat“ gebastelt. Die entspannten Beats kommen mit jazzigen Samples, einfachen Loops und knackigen Drums daher. Die chillhoppige Vibes vom Loop Schrauber sorgen für eine gute Zeit inkl. diverser Kopfnocker. Meine Wertung: 8/10. Favoriten: „float“, „jupiter“ und „window“. Die Platte ist exklusiv im Online-Shop von VinDig erhältlich.

AzudemSK, Slowy & Dennis Real – Chrom (Wyl Rework)
Das Album „AzudemSK, Slowy & Dennis Real – Chrom“ ist 2018 über HHV Records (HHV672-1) erschienen. 2019 haben sich Leon Raum, Leon Mache und Marco Zügner von Wyl das Album noch mal vorgenommen und fünf Titel einem Rework unterzogen. Das ganze wurde ebenfalls auf Vinyl gebannt. Die Überarbeitung wurde über das Label-Duo HHV / Wadada (HHV805 / WADADA027) veröffentlicht und ist auf 500 handnummerierte Kopien limitiert. Das Artwork hat Gizem Winter gefertigt. Mix und Mastering stammen von Leon Mache und Sven Friedrichs.
Mit Hilfe von Saxophone, Keys, Synth (Marco Zügner), Drums, Percussion (Leon Raum), Bass und Gitarre (Leon Mache) wurde „Chrom“ nicht verbessert, sondern neu interpretiert. Die „echten“ Instrumente lassen jazziges Livefeeling aufkommen und passen perfekt zu den fünf ausgewählten Tracks. „Chrom (Wyl Rework)“ ist das bisher fehlende dritte Vinyl vom ursprünglichen Album. Meine Wertung: 9/10. Favoriten: „Variation“ und „Dichte Rille“. Die Platte könnt ihr euch bei Bandcamp und im Online-Shop von HHV zulegen.

The tracks were made back in 2001-2003, when Remulak was experimenting with Fruity Loops 3.0 and Soundforge 5.0 for his production.
