Duzz Down San – X (Compilation)

Das Wiener Independent Label Duzz Down San feiert in diesem Jahr 10 jähriges Bestehen. Glückwunsch! Zu diesem Anlass wurde heute eine Compilation veröffentlicht und es werden zwei Labelnights veranstaltet. Diese finden am 05.10.2018 in Wien (Flex Cafe) und am 03.11.2018 in Innsbruck (PMK) mit zahlreichen Livekonzerten und Dj-Sets im großen Rahmen statt. Da ich an beiden Terminen keine Zeit habe, bin ich auf die Compilation angewiesen, um standesgemäss mitzufeiern. Und dieses Tape ist echt fett geworden. Die Waxolutionists, Testa, Mettphonic, Toetensen und viele mehr haben für Duzz Down San – X ihre Beats zur Verfügung gestellt. Die Kassette ist mit 28 Tracks bis zum letzten Meter prall gefüllt. Chillhop daydreams (Chillhop Records)

Zwischen Essentials und Raw Cuts schienen die Chillhopper noch etwas Platz zu haben. Den haben sie jetzt mit der Compilation Chillhop daydreams ordentlich ausgefüllt. Für die Erstellung und den Vertrieb des analogen Datenträgers war wieder der japanische Dienstleister QRATES verantwortlich. 500 handnummerierte Kopien wurden in Orange Colored Vinyl gepresst. Hier Im Vinyl-41-HQ ist das 240. Schmuckstück gelandet. Bei HHV und Vinyl Digital (Pre-order) sind noch ein paar Exemplare verfügbar. Haut rein!

Wertung

Meine Wertung: 9/10 für Chillhop daydreams. Wenn Tempo der mittlerweile geläufige Gattungsname für Papiertaschentücher ist, dann könnte sich daydreams als Inbegriff für Entspanntheit etablieren. Was für ein lässiges Album. 18 total chillige Tracks mit relaxten Beats und jazzigen Samples hat die überaus fitte A&R Abteilung des niederländischen Labels für diese Compilation ausgewählt. Legt das Vinyl auf, schnappt euch einen Kaffee, macht es euch auf eurem Sitz- oder Liegemobiliar bequem und gebt euch euren Tagträumen hin. Prädikat: Chillhop vom Feinsten!

Favoriten: clap cotton – dutches, invention_ – dxy_drmng und less.people – you’ve got nothing (but time)

Summer Compilation Album (Aviary Bridge Records)

Nach der vinylen Sommer-Ausgabe der Chillhopper folgt hier schon der Beste-Jahreszeit-Sampler vom Label Aviary Bridge Records: Summer Compilation Album. 18 Tracks von 18 Produzenten haben auf der gut gefüllten Kassette Platz gefunden. Auch das A&R-Team von Aviary Bridge Records ist richtig fit und hat wieder ein exzellentes Line-up mit frischen Beatschmieden auf die Instrumental Welt losgelassen. Chillige Beats für lauschige (Spät-)Sommerabende. Daumen hoch! Mit diesem Tape hat das niederländische Label alle vier Jahreszeiten final abgedeckt. Ich hoffe mal ganz frech auf eine erneute Runde. Ihr könnt Euch die Kassette direkt bei Bandcamp zulegen. Auch die drei anderen Seasonal Compilations sind noch verfügbar. Vielleicht kann das Label ja mal ein Bündel für Euch schnüren?! Danke! :-)

Wie im richtigen Leben so auch bei den Chillhoppern: auf den Frühling folgt der Sommer. Chillhop Essentials – Summer 2018 nennt sich das Doppel-Album für die zweite Jahreszeiten-Compilation 2018. Auch für diesen Sampler hat das holländische Label den japanischen Vinyl-Dienstleister QRATES in Anspruch genommen. 1.000 Kopien wurden angefertigt. Im Vinyl-41-HQ ist die 999(!) gelandet. Hamma! In den Onlineshops von HHV und Vinyl Digital könnt Ihr Euch noch ein paar Platten sichern.

Wertung

Meine Wertung: 10/10 für Chillhop Essentials – Summer 2018. Nach dem ich Chillhop Essentials – Spring 2018 zur besten bisher erschienenen Seasonal Compilation erklärt habe, schleicht sich der aktuelle Sampler langsam ran und sichert sich den 2. Platz. 23 Instrumental Hip Hop Tracks der absolut chilligen Sorte haben es auf das von Philanthrope gemasterte Doppel-Vinyl geschafft. Unbekannte und bekannte Produzenten teilen sich wieder den begehrten analogen Speicherplatz. Ich wiederhole mich gern: A&R vom Feinsten. Grossartige und entspannte Beats von vorn bis hinten. Dafür gibt es erneut die volle Punktzahl.

Insert Tape Two (Insert Tapes)

Das schwedische Independent Record Label Insert Tapes hat es für die 2. hauseigene Compilation richtig krachen lassen. Für Insert Tape Two mussten zwei Kassetten herhalten, die mit 50 Instrumental Hip Hop Tracks prall gefüllt sind. Wie schon beim ersten Teil, so sagen mir auch bei der Fortsetzung die Produzenten der Beats vom Namen überhaupt nichts. Und wie schon beim ersten Teil finde ich das richtig gut. Da begibt man sich mal wieder auf eine Entdeckungsreise in unentdeckte Soundgefilde inkl. Lo-Fi Beats vom Feinsten. Bei Bandcamp gibt es noch 7 Tapes zum Preis von je 10 Us-Währungseinheiten (zzgl. Versand). Mein Empfehlung: Zuschlagen!
