Das Instrumental Hip Hop Album „Loop Schrauber – Repeat“ ist im November 2019 über das Independent Music Label Vinyl Digital (VinDig421) erschienen. Vom Solo-Debüt des Con Comfort Beatschmieds wurden 300 Kopien in schwarzes Polyvinylchlorid gepresst und in ein von Mimi Smalls designtes Cover gesteckt. Das Mastering stammt vom Künstler himself.
Stattliche 16 Tracks hat der Regensburger Soundtüftler für „Repeat“ gebastelt. Die entspannten Beats kommen mit jazzigen Samples, einfachen Loops und knackigen Drums daher. Die chillhoppige Vibes vom Loop Schrauber sorgen für eine gute Zeit inkl. diverser Kopfnocker. Meine Wertung: 8/10. Favoriten: „float“, „jupiter“ und „window“. Die Platte ist exklusiv im Online-Shop von VinDig erhältlich.

AzudemSK, Slowy & Dennis Real – Chrom (Wyl Rework)
Das Album „AzudemSK, Slowy & Dennis Real – Chrom“ ist 2018 über HHV Records (HHV672-1) erschienen. 2019 haben sich Leon Raum, Leon Mache und Marco Zügner von Wyl das Album noch mal vorgenommen und fünf Titel einem Rework unterzogen. Das ganze wurde ebenfalls auf Vinyl gebannt. Die Überarbeitung wurde über das Label-Duo HHV / Wadada (HHV805 / WADADA027) veröffentlicht und ist auf 500 handnummerierte Kopien limitiert. Das Artwork hat Gizem Winter gefertigt. Mix und Mastering stammen von Leon Mache und Sven Friedrichs.
Mit Hilfe von Saxophone, Keys, Synth (Marco Zügner), Drums, Percussion (Leon Raum), Bass und Gitarre (Leon Mache) wurde „Chrom“ nicht verbessert, sondern neu interpretiert. Die „echten“ Instrumente lassen jazziges Livefeeling aufkommen und passen perfekt zu den fünf ausgewählten Tracks. „Chrom (Wyl Rework)“ ist das bisher fehlende dritte Vinyl vom ursprünglichen Album. Meine Wertung: 9/10. Favoriten: „Variation“ und „Dichte Rille“. Die Platte könnt ihr euch bei Bandcamp und im Online-Shop von HHV zulegen.

Mensch kann ja von Facebook halten was er will. Aber dieses Socialdingsbums ist eine wahre Fundgrube für vinylen Stuff, der sonst ungehört an mir vorbeigegangen wäre. Besonders lobend möchte ich die (private) FB Gruppe Instrumental HipHop Vinyl & Tapes erwähnen. Neben vielen anderen Veröffentlichungen habe ich dort das Album „Roberto Bronco – Lost Souls“ entdeckt. (Danke Gruppe! Danke Jazzman!) Die Platte ist im November 2019 über das Bielefelder Label Deep Inspiration Show Records (DISRWAXLP01) erschienen. Das Artwork stammt von Peer Du und das Mastering von Sven Weisemann.
Tipp bekommen. Bei Bandcamp angehört. Wow. Bestellt. Aufgelegt. Another wow! Die Platte, für die Roberto Bronco einst zehn Tracks produzierte, hat es mir echt angetan. Die Beats zwischen Chillhop und Boom Bap sowie die Sample Mischung aus Hip Hop, Soul und Jazz klingen total fresh und lassen automatisch den Kopf nicken. So muss das. Ich habe das Vinyl jetzt schon etlichen Rotationen unterzogen und es wird auf keinsten langweilig. Exzellentes Album, dem ich einfach nur eine 10 verpassen kann.
Meine Wertung: 10/10. Favoriten: „Lay Back“, „Out The Box“ und „Those Days“. Der analoge Datenträger aus Polyvinylchlorid ist (noch) auf der Bandcamp-Seite von DISR verfügbar. »6 remaining« In den Online-Shops von HHV, deejay.de und decks.de sind auch ein paar Kopien gelistet. Nach Smunchiiez liegt mit „The Breed – The Art of Chilling“ die nächste Soloscheibe des umtriebigen Produzenten auf dem heimischen Plattenteller. Das gesplatterte Schmuckstück ist über das Mörschbacher Indie Label Vinyl Digital (VinDig434) erschienen. Lediglich 300 Kopien wurden in mehrfarbiges Polyvinylchlorid gepresst. Für die Gestaltung des Covers sind folgende Kreativschaffende verantwortlich: Rico79 (Graffiti), Cristoph Jann (Fotos) und Mirko Fuss (Layout). Das Mastering hat der »International Gold, Platinum and Diamond Certified Mixing & Mastering Engineer«Lex Barkey übernommen.
Im Jahr 2019 hat The Breed für jeden Monat einen Beat gebastelt, der die Stimmung des jeweiligen Zeitabschnitts widerspiegeln soll. Aufgabe erfüllt! Zum Ende des Jahres wurden dann die zwölf entstandenen Tracks auf ein total hübsches Vinyl gebannt und als Album veröffentlicht. Wie der Titel es schon vermuten lässt, sind alle Beats total entspannt aka chillig. Gitarren, Bass, Trompete, Horn, Saxophon, Rhodes und Synthesizer sind die weiteren Mitstreiter für diesen musikalischen Jahresrückblick. Exquisites Gesamtkunstwerk aus Sound und Bild. Perfekt für eine gutgelaunte Auszeit.
Meine Wertung: 9/10. Favoriten: „March – Little Trumpeter“, „May – Beach Day“ und „October – Ideas“. Das Vinyl ist als »multicolor splattered vinyl with special spot varnish artwork« exklusiv bei VinDig erhältlich.
