Wenn man in diesen sozialen Netzwerken den richtigen Leuten folgt, dann kann man auch mal ein paar Perlen der zeitgenössischen Beatkunst entdecken, die sonst einfach ungehört „verstauben“. M O̷ R T I S – Feather Mountain ist einer dieser speziellen Funde. Das Beat Tape vom Produzenten aus San Luis Obispo, California hat mich schon nach der ersten Durchhörung komplett gefesselt. Jazziger Hip Hop und Samples aus den guten alten Siebzigern und Achtzigern, grossartig! Kann das mal jemand in Vinyl pressen? Danke! Bis es soweit ist, könnt Ihr Euch die digitale Version für schmale 2 US-Währungseinheiten (oder mehr) bei Bandcamp als Stream / Download zulegen.

Das Beat Tape beinhaltet 12 – eigentlich unfertige – Tracks, die in Zukunft keine Verwendung finden sollten. Hmmm, klingt etwas verquer. Aber egal!
