Ziemlich frisch im Vinyl-41-HQ: Harry Crotch – Do’s and Donuts. Das Debüt des Münchner Schlafzimmer-Produzenten ist über das Label-Duo Bumm Clack Records / Vinyl Digital (VINDIG347) erschienen. BTW: Harry Crotch. Da war doch mal was mit DLTLLY, oder?! Yes! Aber egal, denn hier geht es um Do’s and Donuts. Von der Platte wurden schmale 300 Kopien hergestellt, die ihr euch auf der Bandcamp-Seite von Bumm Clack Records und im Online-Shop von VinDig zulegen könnt.

Meine Wertung: 8/10 für Harry Crotch – Do’s and Donuts. 16 lo-fi-ige Tracks hat der bajuwarische Beatschmied für sein Debüt produziert. Er hat es dabei ziemlich downtempo angehen lassen, um mal gleich ein Genre zu verwenden. Die chilligen Beats, wabernden Gitarrenriffs und jazzigen Samples passen perfekt, um nach dem kommenden Weihnachtsbraten inne zu halten und ganze easy mit dem Kopf zu nicken. Die entschleunigte Instrumental Hip Hop Platte ist aber sicher auch vor und nach dem Xmas-Fest immer mal wieder eine Rotation wert. Prädikat: gelungener vinyler Erstling!
