Über den Instagram Account von Emune_, der hier vor kurzem mit US_TWO unterwegs war, bin ich auf das Album Always Proper – Bumps & Bruises 2 gestossen. Eine wirklich starke Compilation, die ich gern als Vinyl oder wenigstens auf Kassette gesehen hätte. Vertrieben wird der Sampler von Ploom als Download oder als USB Drive für 25 US-Währungseinheiten (zzgl. Versand). Die Hardware sieht schon irgendwie schick designt aus. Aber der Sinn erschliesst sich mir nicht so wirklich. Ob Download oder USB Drive, es bleibt doch digital, oder?! Egal!

devaloop – 2ter Frühling Instrumentals

Am 10.02.2018 erschien über Bandcamp das Rap-Album Silentists – 2ter Frühling. Das war für mich noch nicht so wirklich interessant. Spannend wurde es dann zwei Tage später. Da flogen mit devaloop – 2ter Frühling die Instrumentals hinterher. So muss das! Bei näherem Hinsehen habe ich dann auch noch einen QRATES-Link entdeckt. Das ganze kommt somit demnächst auch als Doppel-Vinyl daher. Die Seiten A und B enthalten das gerappte Wort, C und D ist den Instrumentals vorbehalten. Perfekt! Hier dann schon mal die digitalen Versionen.

GOLDFINGAH – LOOPS

Bandcamp ist immer wieder eine Inspiration für instrumentalen Hip Hop. Gestern wurde z. B. das digitale Album GOLDFINGAH – LOOPS durch meinen Feed getrieben. Kurz reingehört, für gut befunden und jetzt schon hier im Blog. Läuft! Der Beatschmied aus München hat die 20 Tracks nicht nur produziert, sondern auch abgemixt und gemastert. Und weil das alles noch nicht genug war, hat er sich auch noch um das Cover gekümmert. Ein wahrer Tausendsassa!
