Bei dem Doppel-Album „Amerigo Gazaway – A Common Wonder“ kommt (für mich) echt zusammen, was (für mich) zusammen gehört: Soul, Hip Hop, Instrumentals und Vinyl. Stevie Wonder und Amerigo Gazaway, was für eine geile Kombination. Hamma! Das Doppel-Vinyl ist natürlich ein Soul Mates Project (COMMONWONDERINS), wurde 2018 veröffentlicht und ist auf 500 Kopien limitiert.

Die eindringlichen Soul-Melodien aus der Motown-Era, die Stevie Wonder mit dem frühen Einsatz von Synthesizern, Drum-Machines und Samplern damals™ geschaffen hat, passen perfekt zu den Hip-Hop-Beats von Amerigo Gazaway. Das ultimative Mashup. Ich feiere das Ding total. Meine Wertung: 10/10. Favoriten: „Intro Theme (I Wonder)“, „The Sixth Superstition“, „For Once In My Life feat. Erykah Badu“ und „Pop’s Rap feat.
