Deeb – Slowmocean (Chillhop Records)
Das Vinyl „Deeb – Slowmocean“ (CRA011) ist erstmalig im Jahr 2016 erschienen. Als ich dann endlich auch mal auf diese EP stiess, war die Platte natürlich schon wieder ausverkauft. Mahlzeit! Zum Glück, zumindest für mich, hat sich das Label Chillhop Records für ein Repress entscheiden können. Das von Birocratic gemasterte Vinyl kommt im Jahr 2019 als „Mint Green Version“ daher, sieht verdammt gut aus, klingt fantastisch und ist auf 300 Kopien limitiert.
Der niederländische Beatschmied Deeb hat für sein Viynl-Debüt acht total entspannte Instrumental Tracks produziert. Die Beats zwischen Hip- und Trip-Hop reichen von atmosphärisch bis sentimental. Man kann das tiefe Thema Ozean aka Slowmocean förmlich spüren. Großartige EP, die zum Träumen einlädt. Meine Wertung: 9/10. Favoriten: „The Story“, „Theme From Endless Sunset“ und „Like This One, And Then Some“.
